Position Overview:
The HVAC Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing HVAC construction and retrofit projects from initiation through completion. This role ensures projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with design specifications, safety standards, and customer expectations.

- Manage HVAC projects from pre-construction through closeout
- Review project drawings, specifications, and contracts
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and work plans
- Coordinate with engineers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
- Procure equipment and materials; track deliveries and lead times
- Oversee field supervisors and technicians to ensure quality and productivity
- Monitor job costs, change orders, and project profitability
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company standards
- Conduct site meetings and progress reviews
- Resolve project issues, conflicts, and technical challenges
- Maintain accurate project documentation and reporting
- Support commissioning, testing, and project closeout activities
What you need:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3–7+ years of experience managing HVAC or mechanical construction projects
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, RTUs, VAVs, controls, etc.)
- Experience with project scheduling and budgeting tools
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management software
