About This Position
We are seeking a highly proactive and strategic Regional HR Director & Office Manager to lead HR for our India office and manage local office operations. This is a foundational role that will help scale our HR operations, optimise the employee experience, and embed a strong people-first culture locally. You will report to the Global HR Director, and act as the main point of contact for India-based employees and managers, providing guidance, support, and solutions across the full employee lifecycle.
This role combines HR operations, employee relations, recruitment, and office management, making it ideal for someone who thrives in a dynamic, high-growth environment and is excited to build processes from the ground up.
Partnership & Employee Experience
Serve as the face of HR for India employees and managers, acting as a trusted advisor and escalation point for HR-related queries and concerns.
Partner with the global HR team to deliver HR programs that support people and business objectives.
Coach managers on performance management, employee development, and effective feedback to drive engagement and business results.
Actively contribute to fostering a values-based, inclusive, and collaborative culture.
HR Operations & Employee Lifecycle
Lead end-to-end HR processes for India employees, including onboarding, offboarding, HRIS updates, performance management, and documentation.
Support benefits administration, time-off tracking, and attendance monitoring.
Ensure HR processes are compliant with Indian labour law and aligned with global policies.
Monitor and address attendance or conduct issues, escalating complex matters to the HR Director when necessary.
Recruitment & Talent Support
Partner with hiring managers to attract and recruit top talent in India.
Deliver expert candidate screening and evaluation, provide clear assessment insights, and uphold an excellent candidate experience, in close alignment with Talent Acquisition process owners.
Support broader talent management initiatives, including employee engagement and retention programs.
Office & Logistics Management
Manage day-to-day India office operations, including coordination of equipment delivery, onboarding setups, and vendor relationships.
Maintain a local presence for key employee lifecycle activities (e.g., Day 1 onboarding, exits).
Ensure smooth logistics for IT and workplace support across India, and coordinate equipment handovers with global teams as needed.
Compliance & Policy
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indian employment law and provide guidance to managers on compliance, risk management, and employee relations matters.
Contribute to developing, documenting, and improving HR policies and processes, ensuring alignment with global standards.
Continuous Improvement & Strategic Impact
Identify opportunities to improve HR processes, systems, and employee experiences, driving efficiency and effectiveness.
Act as a culture ambassador, promoting manager and leadership capability, and supporting a hybrid working environment.
Maintain awareness of HR trends, best practices, and new technologies to strengthen the HR function locally.

Techsavvy, with experience using HRIS, ATS, and collaboration tools (in particular BambooHR and Lever).
Required Qualifications
5–8 years of HR generalist or HR business partner experience supporting employees in India.
Strong knowledge of Indian employment and labour laws and proven experience applying them in daytoday HR operations.
Experience managing endtoend HR processes, including onboarding, offboarding, HR systems, and employee lifecycle administration.
Demonstrated experience supporting or coordinating recruitment activities.
Prior experience managing office operations or coordinating workplace logistics (preferred, not mandatory).
