The Role

We are seeking a Sanitation Technician to maintain the overall cleanliness and sanitation of our facility and shared workspaces. This role focuses on general warehouse and facility sanitation tasks that support production, maintenance, and quality teams.

The Sanitation Technician ensures floors, shared spaces, storage areas, sanitation equipment, and facility surfaces remain clean, organized, and compliant with sanitation standards. This position plays an important role in keeping our facility audit-ready while helping protect our equipment and work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily facility sanitation tasks, including cleaning floors, sinks, trash areas, and shared workspaces.
• Empty and sanitize trash containers throughout production and warehouse areas.
• Clean and sanitize sanitation equipment, including mop buckets, brooms, dustpans, and cleaning tools.
• Maintain handwashing stations by cleaning sinks and restocking soap and paper supplies.
• Sweep, mop, and sanitize designated areas of the warehouse and facility.
• Clean drains, sinks, and sanitation stations to maintain hygiene standards.
• Dust facility structures, including vents, shelves, cabinets, and equipment areas.
• Maintain the cleanliness of storage areas, docks, cages, and facility walls.
• Assist with cleaning tasks in specialized areas when required and approved by QA.
• Support weekly and monthly deep-cleaning schedules for the facility.
• Maintain sanitation logs and checklists as required.
• Follow proper cleaning procedures, including dusting, cleaning, and sanitizing in the correct order to ensure effective sanitation.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and GMP guidelines.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial, sanitation, warehouse, or manufacturing cleaning experience preferred but not required.
• Experience in fast food service and cleaning is a plus.

• Ability to follow written sanitation procedures and checklists.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks efficiently.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse or production environment.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 12:00 to 7:00 pm, with the initial training schedule (about 4 weeks) from 7:30 am to 2:30 pm.

Compensation: $17.00–$20.00 / hour (DOE)
