1st Shift Industrial Sewer at Flexaust Inc – Warsaw, Indiana

Primary Responsibilities:

1. Processing of customer orders in timely manner

2. Operator Industrial Sewing Machines unassisted

3. Top quality required of correct description and quantity

4. Keep area safe and clean

Working Conditions:

Manufacturing plant; will be required to wear personal protective equipment per policy and may be requested to work overtime per production schedule.

Qualifications:

1. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.

2. The ability to read and write in English.

3. A thorough knowledge of Flexaust products and materials.

4. Basic tape reading knowledge and basic mathematical skills as well as ability to use other tools as required.

Typical Duties and Essential Responsibilities:

1. Working from factory orders, cuts hose to tight tolerances as specified on individual orders, attaches special end finishes per instruction with tolerance and specifications of the work order.

2. Complete factory paperwork per company guidelines.

3. Operate industrial sewing machines

4. Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.

5. Responsible for housekeeping and organization of your area and related areas in department.

6. Remove hose from stock area.

7. Responsible for safe work area, including prompt reporting of any safety hazards to the safety committee or supervisor.

8. Performs any other duties assigned by immediate supervisor or other management as required.
