The Information Technology Specialist will oversee all technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies. This role is integral in managing the IT infrastructure, ensuring data security, and supporting the company’s technological growth and efficiency.

• Exemplify the Tommy’s Tavern and Tap/Tio’s Experience: Dedicate oneself to delivering GREAT guest service, consistently going above and beyond for both team members and guests.
• Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee the maintenance and enhancement of the company’s IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, and software systems.
• Ensure the security of all data and IT systems, implementing measures to protect against cyber threats.
• Lead IT projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Build and maintain relationships with IT vendors and service providers. Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve cost efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to IT and data security.
• Recruit, train, and mentor IT staff. Conduct regular training sessions on new technologies and best practices.
• Provide technical support to all departments and troubleshoot IT issues as they arise.
• Stay ahead of technology trends and continuously innovate to keep the company’s IT systems current and efficient.
• Manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and financial efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular reports on IT operations, project progress, and system performance.
• Develop and enforce IT policies and procedures to ensure efficient and secure operations.
• Conduct regular reviews of IT operations to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary changes.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the Aloha POS system, ensuring seamless integration and operation across all restaurant locations
• Conduct regular training sessions on technologies and company policies and procedure
• Implement and manage online ordering systems and tracking for delivery services like DoorDash and Uber Eats, ensuring efficient order processing and real-time tracking

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and data security.
• POS Systems: Familiarity with the Aloha POS system and its functionalities
• Inventory Management: Experience with Crunchtime inventory system and its features
• Online Ordering Systems: Understanding of online ordering and tracking systems like DoorDash and Uber Eats
• Leadership & Communication: Ability to lead and motivate IT staff and communicate effectively with team members and management.
• Analytical Thinking: Ability to assess IT needs and provide strategic recommendations.
• Attention to Detail: High accuracy in managing IT systems, budgets, and compliance processes.
• Problem-Solving: Strong troubleshooting skills to address IT challenges.
• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline IT operations and enhance efficiency.
