About This Position

The Virginia League for Planned Parenthood is seeking an Assistant Health Center Manager for our Virginia Beach Clinic!

The Assistant Health Center Manager (AHCM) assists in the day to day leadership to support the operations of the Virginia League for Planned Parenthood (VLPP). This position provides floor support and flow facilitation to health center staff in addition to providing support to the Health Center Manager for administrative tasks.

Our AHCMs work in partnership with our Health Center Managers to provide managerial oversight to our clinical support team to ensure VLPP is compliant and able to compete in an ever-changing healthcare environment.

Successful candidates in this role foster an environment that promotes a team approach to providing client-centered healthcare. 1 to 2 years experience in a healthcare environment and a high school diploma are required. Individuals with MA, LPN or other licensure credentials are encouraged to apply. Licensed staff is required to have BLS certification on file.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (may include some or all of the following):

Serves as manager in absence of Health Center Manager (HCM) Daily coordination with HCM to ensure that the staffing structure meets the needs of the patient schedule, and maximizes efficiency. Provides on the floor support to staff across services, including flow facilitation. Participates in the HR process for health center staff including hiring, onboarding, training, and disciplinary action. Ensure a client-centered service model by creating an environment that promotes responsive service delivery. Lead department efforts to achieve established goals for customer service, productivity, revenue generation and regulatory compliance. Contribute to a positive work environment by following through on tasks, taking initiative, working with the team and identifying solutions. Hold health center staff accountable to service standards and compliance with VLPP medical, administrative and security protocols. Provide ongoing feedback that recognizes, identifies, and supports when improvement is recommended and when excellence is achieved to team members regarding productivity, quality of patient care, operational assessment, customer service and teamwork. Serve as financial steward for health center. Monitor monthly productivity goals, inventory usage and staffing to ensure successful operations and financial stability. Responsible for effective use of Electronic Health Records (EHR) including oversight of staff usage,coordination of training, and patient flow. Monitor and ensure compliance with VLPP medical protocols and administrative procedures, HIPAA, CLIA, OSHA, and state pharmacy regulations. Submit audit data when assigned; ensure the health center meets agency Quality Assurance requirements. Assist with maintenance of facility systems, including serving as onsite contact for maintenance vendors as needed to ensure that facilities are clean, professional and functionally prepared for service delivery at all times. Pay: Starting pay range is between $50,153 - 59,003 annually
