Role Overview:

The Turndown Attendant performs turndown service by cleaning guest rooms according to established quality and performance standards, ensuring a sufficient quantity of clean and inviting guest rooms.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Clean and reset guest bedroom and bathroom areas according to established standards and self-inspecting turndown program.
  • Organize and stock cleaning cart/trolley and linen closets on assigned floors.
  • Complete assigned paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Report any damages and discrepancies to the Housekeeping office and Housekeeping Supervisor.

In addition to essential functions, this position may require performing a combination of the following supportive functions:

  • Perform general cleaning tasks using standard hotel cleaning products to adhere to health standards.
  • Assist with special guest requests and clean unexpected spills.
  • Help other housekeeping employees maintain clean and organized work and public areas.
Education/Experience:
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High school diploma or equivalent education required.
Requirements:
  • Ability to stand, walk, use hands to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, talk, and hear.
  • Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to see differences in widths and lengths, such as those on graphs.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic computational ability is necessary.
