This role is designed for a product-minded engineer who enjoys turning ideas into real, user-facing features. As an Internal Product Engineer, you will work across the full stack to design, build, and ship scalable product functionality from concept to production. The position places strong emphasis on backend systems while also encouraging collaboration on frontend implementation and user experience decisions. Working in a fast-paced and highly autonomous environment, you will help translate product goals into practical technical solutions. You will leverage modern AI-assisted development tools to accelerate workflows and improve engineering productivity. This role offers the opportunity to influence product direction while building reliable, high-impact systems used by real customers.

• Build and maintain full-stack product features from concept to production, ensuring functionality is reliable, scalable, and user-focused.

• Design and implement backend systems, APIs, and data models that support core product capabilities and integrations.

• Collaborate with product stakeholders to translate business objectives and user needs into practical technical solutions.

• Contribute to frontend implementation when necessary and participate in UI and user experience decisions.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate coding workflows, refactor code, and explore innovative technical solutions.

• Maintain high engineering standards by writing clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot complex issues affecting backend services or integrations.

• Contribute to internal documentation, engineering best practices, and process improvements across the development lifecycle.

• Participate actively in product discussions and propose technical solutions that enhance usability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

• At least 4 years of experience building and shipping full-stack software products in production environments.

• Strong backend engineering experience with a solid understanding of APIs, system architecture, and data modeling.

• Hands-on experience using AI-assisted development tools, including Claude Code, within a professional development workflow.

• Ability to work across the technology stack, including backend systems and basic frontend implementation.

• Familiarity with authentication systems, integrations, background processes, and database management.

• Experience designing scalable and maintainable systems with strong attention to performance and reliability.

• Comfort working in fast-moving environments with ambiguous requirements and evolving product needs.

• Strong problem-solving skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work independently.

• Experience contributing to product decisions and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams.

• Experience building AI-powered or AI-enabled products, startup environments, or early-stage platforms is considered a plus.

• Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks, design systems, or end-to-end feature ownership is beneficial.
