Center for Life Management is seeking a Supported Employment Team Leader to join our Adult Services team. This is a leadership role for someone who is both a strong team leader and a confident supervisor—someone who can guide a team, drive outcomes, and stay connected to the real work happening in the community. If you’re passionate about helping individuals find meaningful employment, enjoy mentoring others, and are comfortable balancing leadership with direct service, this may be a great next step in your career. This is a full-time, 40 hour per week position.
We're looking for someone who is:
- A strong leader who can supervise, coach, and support a team.
- Organized and able to manage both team responsibilities and a small caseload.
- Comfortable using data to track outcomes and guide team performance.
- Passionate about employment as a key part of recovery.
- Confident providing feedback, addressing performance, and supporting staff development.
- Comfortable working in the community and supporting staff in real-world settings.
- Experienced in behavioral health, employment services, or case management.
- Motivated to uphold evidence-based practices like IPS Supported Employment.
- A clear communicator who can collaborate across teams and with community partners.
CLM provides comprehensive outpatient mental health services for adults and elders experiencing severe and persistent mental illness, co-occurring developmental disabilities, and substance use disorders. Supported Employment (SE) is an evidence-based model that helps individuals find, obtain, and succeed in competitive, community-based employment, as well as pursue education aligned with long-term goals. As the Supported Employment Team Leader, you’ll oversee both the clinical and administrative functions of the SE team, while also maintaining a smaller direct service caseload. You’ll play a key role in upholding IPS Supported Employment standards by adhering to the General Organization Index and Fidelity Scales, leading CLM’s participation in the annual Fidelity Assessment, supporting staff development, and driving strong employment outcomes for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Supervision
- Provide regular supervision, coaching, and performance feedback to SE staff
- Complete performance evaluations and support staff development
- Review documentation and provide corrective feedback as needed
- Coordinate onboarding, training, and field mentoring for new staff

- Provide crisis intervention when needed
- Engage clients in employment and outcome tracking
Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with the Community Support Services Clinical Supervisor
- Collaborate with clinical teams, employers, educators, and community partners
- Participate in interdisciplinary meetings and care coordination
- Support integration of employment services into overall treatment planning
Administrative & Compliance
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation in the electronic health record
- Monitor productivity and program performance metrics
- Uphold agency policies, regulatory requirements, and professional standards
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in mental health, clinical services, or employment support/coaching
- Supervisory or leadership experience strongly preferred
- Experience working with co-occurring disorders preferred
- Experience with motivational interviewing preferred
- Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and support team performance
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (including Excel for tracking data) and EHR systems
- Ability to work independently while supporting a team environment
Your day might start with reviewing team metrics and checking in with staff on client progress. You may provide supervision to a team member, help problem-solve a challenging employer situation, or join a staff member in the field for mentoring.
Later in the day, you might meet with a client, attend a treatment team meeting, or review documentation and provide feedback. You’ll balance leadership responsibilities with direct service, ensuring both your team and clients are supported and successful.
No two days are the same—but every day is focused on helping people build meaningful, independent lives through employment.
