About This Position
G‑3 Chickadee—formerly part of Goodyear Chemical—is undergoing a major transformation. As a newly independent, Private Equity–backed organization, we are modernizing our infrastructure, implementing new systems (SAP, MES, cybersecurity), and building a strong operational foundation for continued growth.
The SAP Analyst plays a critical role in optimizing and supporting the enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems within an organization, specifically focusing on SAP modules. This position is responsible for analyzing business processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing SAP solutions that enhance operational efficiency and data accuracy. The SAP Analyst collaborates closely with cross-functional teams. The analyst should specialize in one or more SAP functional areas such as finance, supply chain, or operations. The analyst works with business SMEs and IT to ensure seamless integration and functionality of SAP applications. They are also tasked with troubleshooting system issues, performing unit testing, and providing end-user training and support to maximize system utilization. Ultimately, the SAP Analyst ensures that the SAP environment aligns with business goals and drives continuous improvement across the organization.
What You'll Do
- Expertise with SAP functionality and modules for a general area, such as finance, supply chain or operations
- Analyze and document business requirements and translate them into SAP system configurations and enhancements
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement SAP solutions that meet business needs and improve process efficiency
- Perform unit testing, troubleshoot issues, and coordinate with technical teams to resolve defects and optimize system performance
- Provide training and support to end-users to ensure effective use of SAP modules and adherence to best practices
- Monitor SAP system performance and recommend upgrades or improvements to maintain system integrity and security
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Business Administration, Information Technology or related field
- Experience with SAP S/4HANA migration and cloud-based SAP solutions.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in SAP, architect, implementation, configuration, and support.
- Proven experience leading SAP projects and managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience working in a large-scale enterprise environment with complex business processes.
- Strong understanding of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, or relevant areas depending on business needs
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- SAP certification in relevant modules or project management (e.g., PMP, SAP Certified Application Associate)
