Student Intern Unpaid (BHS) - Sunburst Marketing & Event Support at Beacon Health System – Granger, Indiana

The Sunburst Event Planning Intern, Marketing & Event Support, will be responsible for a wide range of event planning tasks. The intern will attend all organizational meetings relating to the planning of Sunburst Races, one of our region’s largest community events, with over 5,000 participants.

The intern will assist with logistical aspects of the race – warehouse/supplies, the start line, on-course, packet pickup, and the finish line. The intern may also be asked to help with marketing and social media tasks.

MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK FULL-TIME RACE WEEK, MAY 26-30, 2026

Potential interns must:

• Manage time well; be able to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Be organized; the small details matter.
• Have a great attitude and work well with the team. Be positive and helpful, willing to do whatever it takes to make the race a success.
• Be reliable. We’ll be counting on you as will thousands of runners.

*hours/scheduling (outside of race week) are very flexible, free temporary membership to Beacon Health & Fitness throughout internship
