Location: Lufkin, Nacogdoches, or Livingston, Texas (serving Angelina and surrounding counties)
Burke's Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) Program is seeking a Speech Language Pathologist to provide speech, oral motor, and consultative services to children from birth to three (3) years of age who have developmental delays or disabilities.
Services are delivered in the child's natural environment, including the home, childcare settings, and community locations. The Speech Language Pathologist works as part of an interdisciplinary team to support children and families and participates in evaluation, assessment, and development of the Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP).
Essential ResponsibilitiesProvide speech and oral motor therapy services in natural environments
Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations
Participate in the development and implementation of IFSPs
Provide consultative support to families and caregivers
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
Required:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university
ASHA Certification (CCC-SLP)
Preferred:
One (1) year of experience working with children birth to three (3) years and/or preschool-aged children
Required:
Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist by the Texas State Board of Examiners for Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology
Valid Texas Driver's License
Driving record insurable by Burke's insurance administrator
CPR, First Aid, Defensive Driving, and all other training required by the program
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Ability to walk, bend, and drive regularly
Functional vision, hearing, speech, and hand/finger dexterity
Monday through Friday
8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Negotiable, depending on qualifications and experience.
