Tutor Advisor

We are seeking a Tutor Advisor to join our team. Reporting to the TED Manager and working closely with internal departments, this individual will serve as a central coordination point within the tutor ecosystem. The role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, managing case follow-ups and cross-functional communications, and supporting tutors with procedural, administrative, and operational matters. The Tutor Advisor ensures alignment between tutors and LRDG processes, maintains service continuity, and contributes to the overall quality and efficiency of tutor operations.
Key Responsibilities: Meetings, Cross-Functional Coordination & Case Oversight:
- Weekly scrums and internal coordination meetings (TED, LRDG, TOP)
- Project meetings and roadmap updates
- Recruitment and workforce planning meetings
- Cross-functional coordination and follow-ups
- Participation in ad hoc meetings and internal initiatives
- Zendesk/Outlook case oversight and follow-up
- Reviewing misassigned tickets and ensuring proper reassignment
- Escalating operational or quality cases to the appropriate team
Tutor Operations & Administrative Compliance:
- Conducting random checks of ESR reports to ensure administrative accuracy
- Monitoring tutor adherence to required portal procedures
- Managing tutor departures, pauses, and returns (in coordination with other teams)
- Assisting tutors with technical and procedural operations. (Ex; when tutors need assistance or clarification on who to contact, their availability, questions about the portal and usage, Teams etc...)
Administrative & Financial Follow-Up:
- Processing invoices (information sessions, referrals, etc.)
- Managing payroll-related questions
- Handling billing cycle closures (bi-weekly)
- Following up on salary increase requests
- Monitoring tutor referrals
Communication, Documentation & Tutor Engagement:
- Mass communications to tutors
- Drafting and sending newsletters and announcements
- Sending positive feedback to tutors
- Updating internal documentation and publishing Zendesk articles
- Excellent French and English (written and spoken)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and follow-through
- Confident communicator with a service-oriented mindset
- Comfortable handling ambiguity and prioritizing independently
- Ability to balance empathy with operational requirements
- Reliable and structured
- Calm, diplomatic, and solution-focused
- Proactive and autonomous

- Trustworthy with sensitive information
- Experience in operations, coordination, or support roles
- Experience as an AMG, pedagogical advisor (an asset), or coordinator
- Strong understanding of FSL/ESL/Evaluation environments (preferred)
- Knowledge of LRDG operations

Additional information
Location: Montreal / hybrid
Status: full-time, temporary (maternity leave replacement, contract ending on March 12th, 2027)
Working week: 35 hours/week
Start date: Monday, March 23rd, 2026
Hourly rate: $25-$28/hour depending on experience.
