Salary

$26.01 to $31.08 per hour.

Commitment Bonus- $2,500.00

The Mobile Therapist serves as a team leader within the CSBBH Program and functions as part of a multidisciplinary team. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, providing individual, group, and family therapy, and maintaining all required clinical documentation in accordance with regulatory standards. The Mobile Therapist also provides weekly supervision to their assigned Behavioral Health Technician. Services are delivered across homes, school, and community settings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Mobile Therapist is the clinical lead on the CSBBH Team and is responsible for:

  • Applying and supporting Clinical Treatments (e.g., Evidence-Based Treatments, Family Therapies, Core 4 Clinical Model: a foundational therapy process)
  • Developing and implementing the Individualized Treatment Plan
  • Developing and implementing the safety and crisis plan
  • Developing and implementing crisis interventions
  • Developing group curriculum and supervising BHT-delivered psychoeducational groups
  • Collaborating with the school district to determine the best course of action during a crisis involving students on the Team caseload
  • Conducting client-centered case consultation, in-service training, and liaison activities to school staff
  • Organizing, conducting, and maintaining proper documentation for Core Team Meetings with school staff, which occur at least twice monthly
  • Conducting daily Team planning meetings
  • Developing and overseeing the Therapeutic Summer Programming Curriculum
  • Coordinating care with other service systems.
  • Ensuring all psychotherapeutic and case management goals align directly with the treatment plan, treatment plan reviews, and case notes.
  • Attending weekly staff meetings.
  • Participating in ongoing in-service training programs.
  • Using Northern Tier Counseling’s Electronic Health Record (EHR) system, initial and ongoing training will be provided.
  • Achieving proficiency in the job position within six (6) months. Employees needing additional training should submit a request through their supervisor, manager, or director.

Performing additional duties assigned to meet the needs of the facility

Requirements:

Education & Experience

  • Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing direct mental health services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree with at least nine credits specific to clinical practice in psychology, social work or counseling from an accredited college or university.
  • Criminal history checks and child abuse clearances required in accordance with 23 Pa.C.S. §§ 6301–6386 and 55 Pa. Code Chapter 3490.
