This role offers a unique opportunity to lead operational excellence across data center IT and infrastructure teams. You will drive performance improvement, transparency, and standardization through structured tracking, metrics, and cross-team collaboration. By defining success measures and implementing scalable processes, you will help teams optimize execution and maintain operational efficiency at scale. The position combines technical insight, program management, and strategic oversight to ensure data center operations align with business goals and service commitments. You will partner with multiple stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, prioritize initiatives, and continuously improve operational practices. Occasional on-site presence at data centers may be required, providing hands-on understanding of complex infrastructure environments.
- Define, implement, and continuously improve KPIs, metrics, and dashboards for data center operations
- Establish frameworks to monitor performance, incidents, and operational efficiency across IT and infrastructure teams
- Lead operational review meetings to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities
- Ensure visibility and accountability through structured reporting and data-driven insights
- Standardize processes across sites to enhance operational consistency, scalability, and reliability
- Collaborate with stakeholders to align operational performance with business objectives and service-level agreements
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in technical program or project management, preferably within data center, cloud, or infrastructure environments
- Proficient in project management methodologies and tools
- Strong experience in building operational dashboards, metrics, and reporting systems
- Technical skills in SQL and/or programming languages such as Python or Go
- Solid analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a foundation in math and statistics
- Proven ability to drive alignment and execution across multiple teams without direct authority
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
- Structured, proactive, and results-driven mindset
- Bonus: familiarity with ITIL/ITSM processes, GPU clusters, HPC, cloud infrastructure, or data center networking patterns
