Duties & Responsibilities

Manages the daily, weekly, and monthly billing functions of the office.

Ensure all charges and payments are posted correctly and in a timely fashion

Insurance is filed within a time that is appropriate for practice specialty.

Deposits are made daily, all reports are worked as per department policy, and management is informed when issues arise in any of these processes.

Expected to do whatever is necessary to ensure all charges and payments have been entered by month end. (This may require after hours and/or overtime)

Qualifications:

Minimum education: must be a high school graduate or possess a GED.

Working knowledge of general medical office functions, including but not limited to billing, insurance and coding processes, and medical terminology.
