Project Manager REMOTE
This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Remote Project Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for executing and delivering projects that support our utility clients, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. This position plays a crucial part in managing energy resources through innovative software solutions that lead to efficient energy use and sustainability. You will engage with cross-functional teams and clients, advocating for their success and significantly contributing to the transition towards clean energy. The role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a rapidly evolving sector focused on sustainability.
Accountabilities- Project Execution: Adhere to project management best practices and monitor project progress, tracking milestones, and addressing deviations.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them throughout the project lifecycle.
- Communication: Regularly update stakeholders about project status, risks, and achievements.
- Contract Management: Manage vendor relationships and ensure all contractual obligations are met.
- Quality Control: Ensure that project deliverables meet quality standards.
- Issue Resolution: Address any project issues promptly to keep the project on track.
- Team Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams, assign tasks, and ensure effective collaboration.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation and manage project plans.
- Continuous Improvement: Implement best practices in project management.
- Project Launch & Closure: Finalize deliverables and conduct post-project evaluations.
- 5 years of Project/Program Management with leadership experience, including 3+ years leading complex SaaS projects.
- Exceptional project management skills; experience with electric utilities or energy projects is a plus.
- Proven track record of leading large scale projects with detailed reporting requirements.
- Strong electricity industry knowledge; familiarity with demand response and energy storage is beneficial.
- Outstanding communication skills suitable for C-suite audiences.
- Experience driving cross-functional product and engineering teams.
- Strong problem-solving skills to identify issues and solutions proactively.
- BS/MS/PhD in engineering/science or equivalent work experience.
