The Executive Principal is the single point of executive ownership for:
Executive Accountability:
- End to end MSP service outcomes across infrastructure, workplace, cloud, network, and platform services
- Enterprise service reliability, availability, and operational risk within outsourced delivery models
- MSP commercial performance, contractual compliance, and value realization
- Continuous improvement, automation, and service maturity across all managed servicesEnterprise
- Own and govern all IT services delivered by MSPs, ensuring consistent performance across service towers and affiliates.
- Ensure 24x7x365 operational reliability, resiliency, and compliance with SLAs, SLOs, and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as the executive escalation authority for major incidents, systemic failures, and cross vendor delivery breakdowns.
- Define and enforce clear accountability models between internal teams and MSPs, eliminating ambiguity and delivery gaps.
- Set enterprise standards for IT Service Management (ITSM), incident, problem, change, and escalation management.
- Drive reduction of chronic incidents through root cause elimination, trend analysis, and systemic fixes.
- Champion SRE inspired practices, automation, observability, and proactive operations across MSP delivery models.
- Ensure service reporting is accurate, transparent, and meaningful to executive and business stakeholders.
- Transformation & Modernization Leadership
- Translate enterprise IT and business strategy into clear MSP transformation roadmaps, including cloud adoption, platform modernization, and tooling consolidation.
- Lead large scale MSP transitions, onboarding, rebids, and scope transformations with minimal business disruption.
- Ensure MSP delivery models evolve to support growth, security posture, compliance, and emerging technologies.
- Act as a trusted executive advisor on outsourcing risk, service maturity, and operating model design.
- Bachelor degree or higher 15+ years of senior IT leadership experience, with significant executive ownership of MSP or outsourced IT delivery.
- Proven success governing large scale, multi tower, multi-vendor managed services environments.
- Deep understanding of infrastructure operations, cloud services, service management, and vendor governance.
- Demonstrated ability to lead through complexity, scale, and organizational change.
- Strong executive presence with the ability to influence vendors, peers, and senior leadership.
- ITIL v4 certification or equivalent highly preferred
Base Salary Range: $200,000 to $215,000
