House Manager CLS at Envision Unlimited – Chicago, Illinois

The House Manager CLS- ChicagoLand South Suburbs at ENVISION UNLIMITED is responsible for overseeing and managing the day-to-day operations of assigned CILA homes. This includes hiring and supervising CILA employees, ensuring adherence to planned schedules, evaluating employee performance, and maintaining budgetary guidelines. The position requires on-site supervision, monitoring health and safety practices, and responding to emergencies. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Hire and supervise CILA employees, monitor work hours, and manage overtime.
• Evaluate employee performance and enforce agency policies and procedures.
• Provide on-site supervision at CILA homes.
• Ensure completion of mandatory OJT training and timely re-certification.
• Maintain and operate assigned homes within budgetary guidelines.
• Continuously monitor health and safety practices in each assigned CILA home.
• Ensure infection control and COVID protocols are followed.
• Ensure medication authorized staff are scheduled for every shift.
• Maintain CILA homes appropriately (physical plant, cleanliness).
• Respond to emergencies in the CILA homes, carrying an Agency-issued cellular phone at all times.
• Monitor assigned agency vehicles and coordinate maintenance with the transportation department.
• Develop, plan, and monitor community inclusion activities for members.
• Ensure adherence to mandated reporter/OIG protocols and cooperate with OIG investigations.
• Complete required documentation in the agency electronic record system (Quantum).
• Ensure timely response to emails and phone calls; maintain semi-annual inventories.
• Monitor accounts for agency rep payee members and assist members in budgeting.
• Maintain pay card, track expenditures, and receipts; track Link card usage.
• Complete annual and semi-annual Health & Safety reviews; maintain first aid kits.
• Maintain confidentiality per the Illinois Mental Health Code and Confidentiality Act.
• Maintain a professional image and role as a representative of Envision Unlimited at all times.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead Direct Support Professionals and DSP's will report to you

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES

• Complete 12 hours of continuing education units (CEU) annually.
• Participate in various committee and staff meetings.
• Participate in quarterly quality assurance reviews.
• Attend and assist at agency and member events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, and/or EXPERIENCE

• High School Diploma
• Three years direct work in Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities CILA home
• Must have supervisory experience
• Must have DSP training
• Pass the TABE test and maintain authorization to pass medications
• Valid driver’s license
