Job Description

Director, MSO Operation

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Director, MSO Operation in the United States.

This role is a high-impact operational leadership position at the core of provider enablement and performance execution within a value-based healthcare environment. It is responsible for ensuring that provider-facing systems, processes, and analytics translate strategy into measurable improvements in care delivery and utilization outcomes. Operating in a fast-paced, highly ambiguous setting, the role focuses on driving clarity, building scalable operating mechanisms, and ensuring consistent execution across cross-functional teams. You will work closely with clinical, growth, analytics, and provider success leaders to improve onboarding, activation, and ongoing engagement of providers. The position requires strong analytical thinking, structured problem-solving, and the ability to operate autonomously while influencing senior stakeholders. Ultimately, your work directly contributes to improving patient outcomes by enabling more effective provider engagement at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead end-to-end execution of MSO (Managed Services Organization) initiatives focused on provider activation, engagement, and performance improvement across key markets.
  • Build and maintain the operating system for provider growth, including KPIs, dashboards, reporting frameworks, and accountability mechanisms.
  • Diagnose breakdowns in provider onboarding, activation, and utilization of clinical and operational tools, and implement scalable solutions to address gaps.
  • Own ambiguous, cross-functional initiatives from problem definition through execution, ensuring delivery of measurable outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership across Product, Analytics, Growth, and Provider Success to align priorities and translate strategy into operational execution.
  • Drive executive-level reporting and insights, building clear narratives that inform leadership decision-making.
  • Improve provider performance by identifying underutilization trends and designing targeted interventions to increase engagement and effectiveness.
  • Ensure consistent visibility into operational and performance metrics across leadership and functional teams.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare operations, consulting, strategy, or provider-focused roles within complex, matrixed environments.
  • Strong background in problem-solving, structured analysis, and end-to-end execution of cross-functional initiatives.
  • Proven ability to operate in ambiguous, fast-paced environments where processes and playbooks are not predefined.
  • Experience working with provider networks, healthcare delivery systems, or value-based care models is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data-driven reporting.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively.
  • Experience driving operational improvements and translating strategy into measurable execution outcomes.
  • Hands-on mindset with a willingness to work directly in data, tools, and execution workstreams.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple high-impact initiatives simultaneously.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $160,000 to $190,000 USD, plus equity and performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions.
  • Flexible time off policy, paid holidays, and additional wellness-focused company days.
  • Remote-first work environment with strong flexibility and work-life balance support.
  • Paid parental leave for all new parents.
  • Mental health support resources and company wellness initiatives.
  • Professional development programs, mentorship opportunities, and learning support.
  • Monthly stipends for internet and mobile expenses plus remote work setup reimbursement.
  • Employee stock purchase plan and additional equity-based benefits.
