This role is a high-impact clinical and technical field position focused on advancing cardiac mapping and ablation technologies within electrophysiology (EP) environments. You will work directly with physicians, hospital staff, and clinical teams to support the safe and effective use of advanced mapping systems that improve patient outcomes. Operating in a dynamic field-based setting, you will combine deep technical expertise with strong relationship-building skills to drive adoption of innovative medical solutions. The position requires frequent travel within a defined territory and close collaboration with sales and clinical stakeholders. You will play a key role in training healthcare professionals, supporting procedures, and ensuring optimal system performance in real-world clinical environments. You will be responsible for delivering clinical, technical, and educational support for advanced cardiac mapping technologies while enabling successful product adoption across healthcare settings. Key responsibilities include:
- Provide on-site clinical and technical support for electrophysiology mapping and navigation systems during procedures.
- Train and educate physicians, hospital personnel, and clinical staff on the use and best practices of mapping and ablation technologies.
- Support the safe, effective, and optimized use of cardiac mapping systems and related procedural workflows.
- Collaborate with sales teams, account managers, and regional leadership to identify opportunities and support business growth.
- Serve as a key technical liaison between clinical users and internal teams, ensuring alignment on product use and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare providers and lab teams within assigned territory.
- Act as a regional expert and advocate for mapping technology adoption and best practices.
- Participate in customer training programs, workshops, and procedural support activities.
- Contribute insights from clinical field experience to improve product usage and customer outcomes.
This role requires strong clinical experience in electrophysiology and cardiac mapping, combined with excellent communication and training capabilities. Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing, life sciences, cardiovascular, or technical discipline (preferred), or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4+ years of relevant experience in cardiac mapping, EP lab environments, or electrophysiology-focused clinical support (higher experience required for non-degree paths).
- Strong understanding of cardiac ablation procedures, EP workflows, and mapping/navigation systems.
- Experience providing technical or clinical training in hospital or clinical environments.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work closely with physicians and clinical staff.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure procedural settings.
- Ability to travel up to 25%–50% within assigned territory, including occasional overnight travel.
- Valid driver’s license and active vehicle insurance required.
- Physical ability to stand, sit, and move within clinical environments for extended periods.
- Strong collaboration mindset and ability to work effectively across sales and clinical teams.
- Competitive base salary range: $130,000 – $140,000 annually (U.S. locations, excluding specific adjustments).
