Job Description
Location: GRACE Donation Station – Grapevine, TX
Schedule: Full-time | 8 AM–5 PM | Off Sundays & Mondays
Pay: $17.43–$18.83/hour (based on experience)
Make an Impact in Your Community
If you enjoy hands-on work, helping people, and keeping a busy donation center running smoothly, this role is for you. GRACE is seeking a Lead Warehouse Associate who thrives in a community-focused environment — someone who can welcome donors, guide volunteers, and help ensure donated goods are handled with care and purpose.
This is not a high-pressure warehouse job. It’s a mission-driven, people-centered role where every action we do, supports individuals and families in need.
What You’ll Do
As the Lead Warehouse Associate, you’ll be the friendly face donors meet when they pull up with items to give. You’ll help unload vehicles, sort donations, and guide your team in preparing items for our resale stores — all while keeping the donation station safe, organized, and welcoming.
Key Responsibilities (not all-inclusive):
Greet donors, assist with unloading vehicles, and provide excellent customer service
Sort, organize, and prepare donated items (clothing, household goods, toys, decor, etc.)
Lead, train, and support team members and volunteers
Maintain a clean, safe, and efficient donation intake area
Monitor daily production goals and help the team stay on track
Deliver merchandise to GRACE resale stores 2+ times per week using a company box truck
Perform basic vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
Work alongside your team to meet daily and weekly priorities
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys physical work, teamwork, and community service.
Minimum Requirements
High school diploma or GED
Age 21+ (required for bonding and driving responsibilities)
Ability to drive non-CDL box trucks (20–26 ft.)
12 months of experience in donation intake, nonprofit operations, thrift/resale, warehouse, production, or similar hands-on environment — especially in a lead or trainer role
Strong communication, organization, and conflict‑management skills
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and current auto insurance
Nonprofit or community-service experience is a plus!
Why Join GRACE?
Work-life balance: Sundays & Mondays off
Paid time off: Holidays, floating holidays, vacation, sick, and personal time
Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 3% match, and more
Mission-driven culture: Your work directly supports families in crisis and strengthens the community.
Pre-Employment Requirements
All offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check, motor vehicle report, insurance verification, reference checks, drug screen, and lift test.
