As Avenir embarks on its dynamic growth phase, we are seeking a strategic, energetic, and highly visible Lifestyle Director to help drive community engagement and overall momentum.
This role is a key contributor to the overall growth strategy — ensuring that programming reinforces value, strengthens relationships, and positions Avenir as a premier lifestyle destination.
Salary: $75 - $100K, commensurate with experience.

Job purpose
The Lifestyle Director is responsible for driving engagement and overall community momentum during an active development phase. This role enhances the resident experience through elevated lifestyle programming, culinary and social events, and strategic community relations that directly support retention and sales objectives. The Director leads the development, promotion, and execution of recreational, social, cultural, and dining-focused initiatives, ensuring alignment with the community's growth strategy and management goals. This individual cultivates a vibrant, connected environment that reinforces value, strengthens resident relationships, and positions the community as a premier lifestyle destination.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work closely with existing residents during this growth phase to cultivate strong community identity, engagement momentum, and meaningful relationships across the amenities.
- Provide prospective residents, current residents, and their guests with polished, high-touch, luxury-level service that reflects the brand experience of the community.
- Plan and coordinate marketing and resident engagement initiatives that activate the amenities and support ongoing community absorption and sales objectives.
- Maintain a comprehensive database of prospective residents within Hampton Golf's CRM system, with full visibility into lead status (pending, closed won, closed lost), ensuring consistent follow-up and measurable conversion activity.
- Proactively generate new prospects and referrals through events, programming, relationship-building, and engagement initiatives that translate into resident growth.
- Present the amenities, restaurant programming, and lifestyle offerings to prospective residents in a compelling manner that reinforces value and drives enrollment.
- Oversee processing of resident enrollment, profiles, and account updates while ensuring accurate roster and database management.
- Communicate new resident onboarding, resignations, and special needs to appropriate departments, ensuring seamless integration and a consistent luxury experience. Retention and satisfaction remain key priorities.
- Coordinate resident communications in partnership with Hampton Golf Marketing, ensuring all correspondence reflects a refined brand voice and keeps residents informed, engaged, and connected.
- Collaborate closely with the General Manager, Food & Beverage Director, Executive Chef, and other leadership Team Members to design and execute integrated lifestyle and culinary experiences that elevate the community's social culture.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of resident services, fee structures, billing processes, guest policies, and community guidelines to confidently represent the brand and support sales efforts.
- Plan, coordinate, and implement resident programs, classes, instructors, culinary events, and community-wide experiences aligned with the community's vision. Solicit resident input to drive participation and ownership.
- Assist residents, clubs, and community organizations with facility scheduling and event logistics, ensuring cross-departmental coordination and proper fee management as applicable.
- Oversee the development and publication of the community newsletter and lifestyle communications that reinforce brand identity and highlight programming momentum.
- Operate within Hampton Golf's established policies and standards while elevating service delivery to align with a luxury, master-planned community environment.
- Purchase and maintain event and programming supplies within budgetary guidelines while preserving elevated presentation standards.
- Protect and enhance the assets, reputation, and brand integrity of the community.
- Perform other related duties as assigned in support of community growth and operational excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, recreation, marketing, event planning, or a related field (or equivalent experience), preferred.
- Licensed Community Manager Association (LCAM), preferred.
- 3–5 years of experience in lifestyle programming, resident sales & services, or event management preferably in a club, HOA, or resort-style community setting.
- CRM system experience required.
- Prior leadership or supervisory experience in a customer-focused environment.
Working conditions
Work is both indoors and outdoors. Potential exposure to sharp and rapid equipment movement, sharp utensils, harmful chemicals and/or solvents if proper safety procedures are not followed.

Physical requirements
Good organizational and verbal skills. Ability to use logical and rational thinking to resolve issues. Ability to perform basic – medium level mathematical skills, write and read resident & corporate communication and be the lead of resident recruitment on behalf of the Club.
Must have the ability to perform moderate physical work and may be required to lift up to 20 lbs., perform activities such as bending, kneeling, crouching, climbing, reaching, standing, pushing, lifting and grasping for up to 5 hours without sitting. Ability to consistently lift, carry and load adaptive and other sports equipment that may weigh 40 or more pounds, and sustain aerobic activity for 20 consecutive minutes.
Please be advised that all work that requires the use of a ladder more than 8 ft. long must be reviewed by Hampton Golf's Club Maintenance person. Following an assessment of the situation, a determination will be made as to whether a maintenance Team Member or subcontractors will perform the necessary maintenance task. No other Team Member is authorized to climb to heights exceeding 8 ft. and/or perform such maintenance. In addition, personnel are prohibited from entering facility attics, walking on the roof of buildings and/or from using scaffolding.
Use the following safety precautions when using an 8ft. ladder:
- Correct placement of the ladder. The safest angle for a straight ladder is to ensure it is placed on-fourth the distance from the base to the point of support. “A” frame ladders naturally comply.
- Ensure the ladder is placed on a firm level surface, and do not place the ladder near a doorway.
- Ensure there are non-skid shoes on the ladder.
- If using a medal ladder, be sure that it is not near electrical wires.
- One person on a ladder at one time, and ensure another team member is holding the ladder in position.
- Never overreach.
