Manager - Cable Operations at Next Solutions – Rochester, New York

Position Summary: Responsible for managing and overseeing daily operations, market growth, metric compliance and maintaining telecommunications relationships.

**MANAGEMENT/SUPERVISOR EXPERIENCE PREFERRED**

Essential Job Duties:

• Select best possible candidates to fill open technician positions
• **Must be capable of running a daily route while also supervising the local technicians and their inventory**
• Technician Development - train, coach and mentor technician staff
• Conduct daily Quality Inspections on closed work orders
• Accountable to meet and exceed all market performance metrics, work order completion and high quality of work produced
• Safety Management, including but not limited to, promoting safe habits and up-training on new safety policies
• Responsible for proactive and positive relationships with local WOW management
• Any other responsibilities deemed necessary by Next Solutions and its customers

Minimum Requirements:

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years Cable management experience REQUIRED
• Minimum of 3-5 years of prior cable management experience
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office products including Outlook, Word & Excel
• Proven leadership skills with managing a team of up to 20 direct reports
• Manages multiple tasks simultaneously, including setting priorities to ensure optimum results
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Willing to work evenings, weekends and holidays as required
