As an Accounting Manager you will oversee all accounting operations for Cima Senior Living, ensuring accurate, timely and GAAP financial reporting across multiple communities. This role is essential in building a scalable accounting infrastructure that supports community operations, regional leadership, and corporate decision-making.

What You'll Do:
  • Financial Reporting & Accounting: Lead full-cycle, multi-entity accounting including GL, AP/AR, payroll allocations, accruals, monthly close, consolidated financials, and GAAP/regulatory reporting.
  • Outsourced Accounting Oversight: Serve as the main liaison to outsourced accounting partners; overseeing AP, reconciliations, and financial processing while ensuring accurate, timely month-end close.
  • Audit & Compliance: Coordinate annual audits and work with auditors, lenders, and tax partners while maintaining internal controls for accurate reporting, billing integrity, cash management, and purchasing.
  • Sage Intacct Leadership: Act as the Sage Intacct expert, standardizing COA/dimensions, improving workflows, automating reporting, and integrating AP, procurement, and payroll systems.
  • FP&A Support: Partner with operations on budgets and forecasts, analyze key metrics (labor, occupancy, revenue), and support financial integration for acquisitions and new communities.
  • Leadership & Collaboration: Work with operations, HR/payroll, and leadership to ensure financial transparency; oversee accounting staff, train community teams, and build scalable processes to support growth.

What You'll Need:
  • 4 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or multi-site operating environments (required)
  • Strong proficiency with accounting system Sage Intacct (preferred)
  • CPA license (required)
  • Public accounting experience strongly preferred, with auditing experience.
  • Experience managing outsourced accounting teams (strongly preferred)
