About This Position
SVMC RN Pipeline Pathway Program 2026
Through partnerships with VTSU, VSAC and the VBRT Foundation, the SVMC RN Pipeline Pathway Program provides an opportunity for successful applicants to maintain up to full-time employment at SVMC while studying to complete their Associate of Science in Nursing degree. Upon completion of this two-year apprenticeship, participants will be eligible to take the NCLEX-RN and apply for RN licensure.
The program is designed to support current employees who wish to pursue a nursing career and "earn while you learn!"
Requirements:
- You will remain at SVMC as an RN for at least two years or as many years the program supported you.
- Upon completion, employees will interview for RN new graduate positions at SVMC.
- Please note you may be required to work evenings, nights and weekends as a new RN.
- You may be required to move into another department during your two years in school in order to obtain your required work hours.
