Lead IT Developer - remote

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior IT Developer. In this critical role, you will play a key part in supporting the growth of our partner through technological enhancements. Your expertise in application design, implementation, and oversight will contribute to improving global software solutions. You will collaborate with other developers and stakeholders, providing insights that drive operational efficiency and innovation, ultimately impacting healthcare outcomes. Accountabilities
  • Support and guide other software developers with the design and implementation of applications.
  • Support the testing and validation of applications.
  • Provide consultation to internal and external users regarding operational issues.
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of system designs and configurations.
  • Work with third-party vendors/customers to integrate with applications.
  • Follow relevant procedures and comply with policies including approved software development processes.
  • Identify and address security, compliance, and usability risks.
  • Ensure scaling and growth requirements are met by the applications.
  • Participate in process standardization and improvement activities.
  • Travel at least 4 times a year, including potential international travel.
Requirements
  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of professional experience as a full-stack lead developer with proficiency in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Knowledge of contemporary technology stacks and cloud architecture.
  • Experience in designing and developing API frameworks.
  • Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (EC2, S3, IAM, RDS).
  • Proficiency with RDBMS - Postgres, MySQL, or Oracle.
  • Understanding of authentication and authorization frameworks like OAuth2 and SAML.
  • Experience with search engines like Elastic Search.
  • Skilled in Continuous Integration methodologies.
  • Fluent in English, with strong verbal and written communication skills.
