First Service Air Conditioning Contractors Inc is seeking an experienced HVAC/Plumbing Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and successful delivery of mechanical construction projects. This role is responsible for leading projects from kickoff through closeoutensuring safety, budget control, quality assurance, and on-time completion.

The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, technical HVAC and plumbing knowledge, and proven experience managing construction teams, subcontractors, and project budgets. Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Lead the planning and implementation of HVAC and plumbing construction projects

  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and milestones

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, schedules, and timelines

  • Assemble, coordinate, and manage project teams and subcontractors

  • Oversee project budgets, cost controls, and resource allocation

  • Monitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions

  • Track deliverables using project management software and reporting tools

  • Provide leadership and direction to field staff and support personnel

  • Ensure quality assurance and compliance with company standards and safety regulations

  • Communicate consistently with stakeholders regarding progress, challenges, and solutions

  • Manage project changes, scope modifications, and client expectations

  • Conduct project evaluations and final closeout documentation

  • Maintain adherence to OSHA and company safety standards

Qualifications
  • 35 years of construction project management experience required

  • 3+ years of HVAC and/or plumbing industry experience preferred

  • Qualification in Project Management or equivalent experience

  • Strong knowledge of theoretical and practical project management principles

  • Proficiency in project management tools and software

  • Proven experience in people management and team leadership

  • Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and cost control

  • Background in strategic planning, risk management, and change management

  • Strong blueprint and mechanical system interpretation skills

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities

  • Valid drivers license with clean driving record
