Production Supervisor- Weekend Shift at AROW Global Corp – Winnipeg, Manitoba
About This Position
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Weekend Production Supervisor to oversee production activities across our MV Fabrication and MV Assembly departments. This role is essential in ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations during our weekend shifts. The supervisor will also support any overtime shifts that occur on weekends.
Reporting to the Production Manager, you will lead a dedicated team, foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement, and help drive operational excellence across our production floor.
Location: 1445 Church Ave, Winnipeg, MB (with frequent travel to 404 Egesz, Winnipeg, MB)
Schedule: Friday to Sunday, 12-hour shifts (training to occur Monday to Friday, 8.5-hour days)
Key Responsibilities- Lead, supervise, and support weekend production employees, ensuring strong communication and teamwork.
- Promote a proactive safety culture by enforcing safety policies, conducting inspections, and investigating any incidents or near misses.
- Monitor production metrics and schedules, adjusting workflow to meet targets and on-time delivery requirements.
- Address performance, attendance, and conduct issues in alignment with company policies and Collective Bargaining Agreements.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities for team members.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, promote LEAN initiatives, and participate in Kaizen and continuous improvement activities.
- Collaborate with other supervisors and departments—including maintenance, quality, engineering, planning, and logistics—to resolve issues and coordinate workflow.
- Manage employee schedules, timekeeping, and staffing needs for weekend operations.
- Ensure adequate resources and materials are available to meet production goals.
- Understand and support the AROW Business System policy and related objectives.
- 2–3 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing or service-based environment.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and engage diverse teams.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Experience with ERP systems such as Syteline or IFS is an asset.
- Reliable transportation is also required due to the travel requirements between 2 shop locations.
- Must be able to travel within Canada and the U.S.; valid passport and driver’s license required.
