Director of Human Resources at The Hatch Group, Inc. – Plainville, Massachusetts

Position Overview

We’re a growing, family-owned company with big goals—and we’re looking for a high-impact Director of Human Resources who’s excited to develop and lead our Human Resources Department. You’ll act as a trusted thought partner to leaders, a go-to resource for employees and your team, and a hands-on partner helping us build a strong, high-performance culture throughout our locations on the east coast.

Where You’ll Work

This position is based out of our Plainville, Massachusetts headquarters with travel required between Orlando, Florida and other locations on the east coast.

What you’ll do:

• Providing guidance on policies, procedures, employee relations, and day-to-day people matters.
• Talent Management - Oversight of full-cycle hiring, onboarding, off boarding, and performance management efforts
• Develop and lead your team of 1-2 HR Generalists
• Act as a People & Culture lead for the business in, helping translate TriNet HCM system capabilities into practical tools that improve manager and employee experiences.
• Lead recruitment efforts by partnering with division managers, ensuring we attract and select high-quality talent.
• Coach and enable managers through People & Culture initiatives, annual processes, and organizational changes, acting as a change agent when we need to pivot quickly.
• Benefit Administration - Overseeing proper benefit management
• Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, applying best practices to minimize risk and support sound decision-making including monitoring of all employee Certificates and Licenses and facilitating training courses

You’ll be a great fit if you have:

• BA/BS degree required
• 7+ years of Director of Human Resources, HRBP, or HR Business Manager experience, with a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, policy governance, and manager coaching
• Solid working knowledge of federal and state labor and employment laws in Massachusetts, Florida and North Carolina
• Extensive working knowledge of employee relations principles, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to join a team and partner with us to achieve our bold goals for the future of the organization

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary $125,000 - $150,000 based on experience
