About This Position

Job Summary

Are you a hands-on problem solver who enjoys fixing things and keeping operations running smoothly? This dual role is for a reliable warehouse maintenance technician who also will support warehouse operations helping our team to maintain a safe, efficient, and high-performing facility. Will be responsible for performing all maintenance activities while performing warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, loading, and organizing inventory.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance

· Perform routine maintenance and inspections of warehouse, equipment and systems

· Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues

· Maintain dock doors, lighting, HVAC systems, and general building infrastructure

· Respond quickly to maintenance requests and unexpected breakdowns

· Ensure all safety equipment and systems are fully operational

· Keep accurate maintenance logs and documentation

· Work with outside vendors when specialized repairs are needed

Receiving & Inventory Handling

· Unload inbound deliveries and verify product quantities and conditions.

· Check items against purchase orders and report discrepancies.

· Move products to designated storage locations using pallet jacks or forklifts.

· Assist with cycle counts and inventory accuracy checks.

Order Picking & Fulfillment

· Accurately pick and pack customer orders using pick sheets, RF scanners, or WMS.

· Prepare, stage, and palletize orders for shipping.

· Ensure proper product rotation (FIFO) and careful handling of fragile items.

· Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently.

Warehouse Operations

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.

· Follow SOPs for receiving, picking, replenishment, and shipping.

· Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and reach trucks safely.

· Replenish stock and organize warehouse shelves and picking areas.

Safety & Compliance

· Follow OSHA and company safety guidelines at all times.

· Report hazards, unsafe equipment, or incidents immediately.

· Properly handle alcohol products per state and federal regulations.

Teamwork & Communication

· Work closely with supervisors and team members to meet daily goals.

· Communicate shortages, errors, or damaged products.

· Support cross-functional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

Qualifications

· 2+ years of maintenance experience (warehouse or industrial preferred)

· Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills

· Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and general repairs

· Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks

· Ability to read pick sheets and follow written instructions.

· Forklift or pallet jack experience (certification preferred).

· Strong attention to detail and reliability.

· Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

· Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).

· Ability to work flexible hours including early mornings, evenings, and weekends

Physical Requirements

· Ability to stand, walk, lift, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.

· Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly.

· Ability to push/pull loads up to 200 lbs.

· Ability to operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and other warehouse equipment.

· Comfortable working in varying temperatures (warehouse, coolers, loading areas).

Work Schedule

· Full-time schedule may vary based on delivery, warehouse volume, and operational needs.
