The Opportunity

Are you a results-driven paid search specialist who loves turning ad budgets into measurable ROI? Do you geek out over Quality Scores, ROAS, and bid strategies — and actually enjoy explaining campaign performance to clients in plain English?

We're looking for a Google Ads Strategist to take full ownership of paid search campaigns for a portfolio of U.S.-based clients across industries including eCommerce, lead generation, and multi-location businesses. You'll be part of a collaborative team of marketers, account managers, and designers — with the autonomy to make strategic decisions and the support to back them up.

What You'll Do

Campaign Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and execute Google Ads strategies tailored to each client's goals and competitive landscape
  • Plan and launch campaigns across Search, Display, and other Google Ads channels aligned to full-funnel marketing objectives

Keyword Research & Optimization

  • Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-intent, high-value opportunities
  • Continuously optimize campaigns to improve Quality Scores, CTRs, conversion rates, and ROAS

Campaign Management

  • Own day-to-day management of Google Ads campaigns including bids, budgets, placements, and audience targeting
  • Run structured A/B tests on ad copy, landing pages, and targeting to drive continuous improvement

Tracking, Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and analyze performance using Google Ads, Google Analytics 4, and reporting tools
  • Deliver clear, actionable daily updates and detailed weekly/monthly performance reports
  • Proactively surface growth opportunities and share recommendations with the team

Ad Copy & Creative Collaboration

  • Write compelling, conversion-focused ad copy tailored to each campaign's goals
  • Collaborate with designers and content teams to align creative assets with paid search strategy

Client Communication

  • Partner with Account Managers to align campaign performance with client expectations
  • Communicate PPC strategy and results clearly to both technical and non-technical clients
  • Build strong client relationships through proactive, professional communication
What We're Looking For

Required:

  • 2+ years of hands-on experience managing Google Ads campaigns end-to-end
  • Deep understanding of PPC best practices: bidding strategies, match types, Quality Score, ad extensions, ROAS optimization
  • Strong analytical skills and comfort with performance reporting
  • Excellent English communication skills — written, spoken, and client-facing (this is non-negotiable for this role)
  • Ability to work consistently within U.S. Eastern Time (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST)
  • Google Ads certification (active or willing to certify before start date)
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously

Bonus Points For:

  • Google Analytics 4 (GA4) certification or strong working knowledge
  • Experience with Google Data Studio / Looker Studio, Google Tag Manager, or similar tools
  • Background in eCommerce, lead generation, or multi-location campaign management
  • Familiarity with Meta Ads or other paid channels (not required, but a plus)
  • Agency experience managing multiple client accounts
