Salary: $65,000 – $85,000

About the Role

Strawbridge Studios, Inc. is seeking an IT and Development Manager with a strong software development background to lead our IT strategy, systems, and development teams. This role is ideal for a technical leader who can oversee software systems, APIs, databases, and cloud environments while driving projects and developing a high-performing team.

You’ll play a key role in aligning technology, software development, and business operations, helping scale systems and improve efficiency across the organization.

What You’ll Do

Manage and mentor both our IT and Development staff, while driving accountability and performanceLead IT operations, systems, and software-driven initiativesOwn and deliver technical projects (software, integrations, infrastructure)Oversee and improve databases (SQL), APIs, and system integrationsPartner with leadership to define and execute a technology roadmapEnsure SOC 2 compliance, data security, and governance standardsManage cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and vendor relationshipsDrive automation, process improvement, and system scalabilityCollaborate cross-functionally to implement technical solutions

What We’re Looking For

Proven experience as an IT Manager, Technical Manager, or Engineering Manager7+ years of experience in IT, Software Development, or Systems EngineeringStrong knowledge of:
SQL (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL)APIs (REST, integrations, data pipelines)Programming/Scripting (Python, JavaScript, PowerShell)Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)Version control (Git)
Experience with project management (Agile, Scrum, or similar)Solid understanding of SOC 2, cybersecurity, and data complianceAbility to lead teams while aligning technology with business goals

Bonus Experience (Nice to Have)

Experience with CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, or DockerBackground in automation, ETL processes, or workflow optimizationExperience in high-volume or production environments
