Minimum Qualifications:
AA degree in social services or related field Two (2) years of experience in intake or case management in the social services area. OR HS Diploma or GED and additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of education.
Job Location: Multiple Locations
Salary Range: $23.85 – $31.11
Position Overview:
Support Services Counselor 2 is responsible for providing clerical support to the Weatherization Program Manager. Under the supervision of the Program Manager, Support Services Counselor 2 will provide staff support services, data entry, and assist with maintaining grant budgets and coding for billings, answer phones, make copies, prepare and distribute mail, and will assist with other administrative support services.
Essential Duties:
· Client Intake to ensure they qualify for the programs.
· Schedule client intakes, auditor's appointments, and contractor dates and times.
· Assist with maintaining internal procedures.
· Check information for completeness and accuracy. Reconcile, correct, or report discrepancies found in records.
· Data entry and tracking into various databases.
· Prepare necessary documentation before the client's home repairs.
· Review figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
· Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations.
· Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
· Proficient bilingual English/Spanish verbal and written communication skills.
· Effectively communicates with students facing difficult situations, using de-escalation techniques to reduce conflict and support resolution.
· Analyze policy, procedures, other materials, and make decisions based on analysis.
· Work independently or as team.
· Use of computer, various software, databases, and multiline phones
· Ability to prioritize and multi tasks within a set timeframe.
· Maintain sound judgement, work under pressure, and maintain high level of confidentiality.
· Demonstrate a genuine respect for all cultures and diverse populations served by OIC.?

Additional Conditions of Employment:
Successfully pass a Criminal History & Background Check. Successfully pass a pre-employment drug test. Valid WA State Driver’s License and proof of insurance, if requested.
