Compensation:$70,000 - $80,000 yearly
Responsibilities:- Represents the Branding department as a support for the turnkey division in creating branded graphics, design direction, and deliverables.
- Attend weekly production meetings to help prioritize strategy for new projects and deadlines.
- Share the status of projects as needed.
- Contribute to the organization, including the Branding department as a whole, and facilitation of projects and tasks, making sure the project is completed on time and within budget.
- Attend any meetings, give insight, information, and deliverables as required.
- Attend Trade Shows & Conferences or travel to job sites to gather the latest trends, solutions, and opportunities on occasion.
- Excellent organizational, problem-solving, logistical planning, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Multi-tasking and the ability to work collaboratively under deadlines.
Tactical
- Support the sales team using collaborative software and prepare for project calls.
- Contribute branding direction to decks and packages of design to be shared with clients.
- Execute production of Graphic Design and fabrication.
- Work with Clients, Architects, Fabricators, and Manufacturers, collaborating on any questions as they arise during the design and construction process.
- Handle Requests for Information (RFIs) internally, working with the Project Manager for seamless coordination.
- Review shop drawings, coordinating effectively with the internal project team and Art Director.
- Coordinate punch inspections with the Construction Administrator of the project.
- Contribute to the enhancement and completeness of processes and workflows for all of the above, helping to eliminate any gaps and add clarification.
Position Specific
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of all project documents.
- Be proficient in Adobe Software, Office 365, and other internal software and project management solutions, including Microsoft Teams, ActiveCollab, and Zoho Suite (training provided).
- Work under time constraints to meet specific timelines.
- Foster clear and efficient communication among internal teams, subcontractors, and clients. Provide prompt updates on project advancement and address any fabrication-related inquiries.
- Effectively complete or assign tasks to production staff while providing guidance and collaborating in executing tasks.
- Assist in monitoring signage and branding budgets and schedules.
- Conduct thorough Quality Control (QC) checks on graphic files, ensuring accuracy and adherence to standards.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation.
- Develop design direction presentations for turnkey or other relevant projects.
- Delegate work to production staff and manage deadlines for tasks.
- Skilled at creating appropriate Adobe files for digital and print production, with a solid understanding of procedures and processes, and file organization.
- Translate art direction into food service branding: logos, signage, large-scale wall graphics, menus, digital templates, and paper products, or any other branding items requested by the client.
- Any additional needs of the department as required.
- Must send a portfolio to be considered for an interview.
- Experience in graphic design within the hospitality industry, with a focus on branding and visual storytelling.
- Proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to budget.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including architects, fabricators, and clients.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Office 365, and project management tools such as Microsoft Teams and Zoho Suite.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail, ensuring quality control and accuracy in all design outputs.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting design concepts and updates clearly to stakeholders.
- Ability to travel occasionally for trade shows, conferences, and site visits to stay updated on industry trends and innovations.
