About This Position

Description:

Job Title: Quality Inspector - Level 1

Job: Full-time work as a premier coating applicator for the HVAC, Oil &Gas, Aerospace, DOD, and General Industrial Markets. With over 180 Unique Processes available, we are able to help with all corrosion, abrasion, and weather-ability issues.

Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Quality Inspector - Level 1 to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards before they are released to our customers. Quality Inspectors must possess basic math, reading and writing skills and be committed to observe and follow all quality and safety procedures. Inspectors must demonstrate the ability to follow procedures correctly and visually inspect quality of work. Working well in teams from diverse backgrounds as both a leader and an individual contributor is required.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet quality standards
  • Record and report any defects or non-conformities found during inspections
  • Work with production team to identify and resolve quality issues
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
  • Familiar with Cross Hatch Adhesion devices, thickness gauges, and paint depth gauges (Training is provided if needed)
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

- Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality control environment preferred

- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify defects or non-conformities

- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team environment

- Ability to stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds
