About This Position

The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly The Actors Fund), a nationwide human services organization that helps all professionals in performing arts and entertainment, seeks an Outreach Associate to promote a new affordable housing project in Hell’s Kitchen and to execute a marketing and outreach campaign to the arts and entertainment community. The intent is that arts workers know about the housing opportunity and how to apply to ensure a robust and eligible artist applicant pool.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The Outreach Associate will manage, research and build an outreach list and conduct outreach to the arts and entertainment community in New York City. Outreach will include Mailchimp and e-blast campaigns, individual phone and email communications, and requests for social media and campaign monitor communications through the Communications team. Additionally, the Associate will help plan and recruit audiences for a series of educational webinars on how to apply. The associate will also provide analytics and periodic progress reports.

With the Entertainment Community Fund’s deep connections in the community, the Outreach Associate will provide outreach to arts organizations, unions and guilds, associations, studios and other industry employers. Outreach will involve asking each organization to help spread the word to their members or constituencies about the Rialto West affordable housing lottery. Each organizational contact receives a marketing toolkit including sample text and images for e-blasts and social media. We follow up with each group and ask them to send reminders to their constituents. Additionally, the Outreach Associate will market and provide administrative support for a series of educational webinars promoting the lottery and providing details on eligibility criteria, the application process, and how to prepare. We will work closely with our development partner to approve all public facing marketing materials and content.
