Overview:
The Registered Nurse supports both clinical and administrative duties in the pediatric outpatient setting. Under the supervision of the nursing leadership team and providers, the Registered Nurse will deliver direct patient care and play an integral role in supporting clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities:
Room patients, take vitals, and obtain medical histories while managing workflow efficiently and ensuring tasks are completed. As assigned by leadership, complete newborn weight checks in coordination with physicians. Implements appropriate clinical decision and demonstrates appropriate use of expert peers and management when needed. Coordinate medication refills and lab results. Manage patient phone calls, referrals, prior authorizations, patient forms, and follow-up as needed.
Assist with in-office procedures. Administer medications and injections. Provide patient education. Support high patient volumes and maintain effective communication. Maintain a positive and professional work environment and collaborate with a variety of staff.
