Location: Philadelphia, PA

Compensation: $20 / Hourly

The Shipping Coordinator is responsible for monitoring, processing and recording a company's outgoing deliveries including merchandise, stock, materials and supplies in a warehouse environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Receive incoming orders
• Assigns orders to warehouse pickers
• Monitors staging area to ensure all picked orders are complete
• Notify purchasing department of any inventory shortages
• Monitor warehouse entrance for will call orders
• Direct delivery drivers to proper receiving bays
• Create load sheets for the packers/shippers
• Create routing sheets for delivery drivers
• Ensures warehouse goals are met
• Maintains a high level of health and safety standards
• Packs warehouse orders as necessary
• Operates scanners so that the proper order is picked, packed, shipped and inventory is managed accurately
• Performs other general warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED RequiredAbility to Read, Analyze, and Interpret Documents such as Safety Rules, Operating Instructions, Procedures and Common Technical Manuals, and Purchase OrdersPrevious Experience Working in a Warehouse PreferredExperience Working with an RF Scanner PreferredStrong Attention to Detail; Ability to Lift Heavy Objects; Ability to Stay on Feet for Long Periods of TimePositive Attitude; Self-Motivated; Safety ConsciousAbility to Work on Multiple Tasks in a Fast-Paced EnvironmentGreat Communication Skills; Ability to Work Well on a Team but Be Self-Motivated and Independent at TimesStrong computer skills required
