Job Details

Title: Hi-Lo Driver
Department: Allison Department
Reports to: Allison Department Supervisor

Working Hours: Monday through Friday, 6:00am to 3:30pm with a 30-minute lunch break

Job Summary/Objective of Job

The Allison Department Hi-Lo Driver is responsible for keeping product organized and the flow of production running efficiently.

Summary of Essential Job Functions

  • Transport cores to production team to be disassembled
  • Transport completed units to Dyno for testing
  • Scan finished goods to shelving bin locations
  • Prepare finished goods to be shipped and transport to Shipping Dept
  • Unload vendor deliveries
  • Drive floor sweeper throughout facility
  • Empty scrap bins, cardboard, and trash hopper daily
  • Cross-train on alternate assignments and perform duties in other work areas as needed.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
  • Hi-lo driving experience preferred.
  • Hi-Lo Certification, or willing to obtain.
  • Strong problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to coordinate/prioritize/Organize.
  • Knowledge of safe work practices required in the department.
  • Ability to remain results-focused in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.

  • Ability to see and hear with or without corrective devices, in a manner that allows safe and effective job performance.
  • Ability to communicate verbally to exchange ideas and information effectively.
