Paint Line Supervisor at FRANKLIN DISPLAY GROUP – Belvidere, Illinois

We are seeking an experienced Paint Line Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Powder Coating Electrostatic Paint Line. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, hands-on leadership experience, and a keen eye for quality control. Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and assist with the setup, operation, and maintenance of the powder coating electrostatic paint line.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on painting equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct titration and chemical checks as part of quality control processes.
• Oversee hook design, scheduling, and workflow to meet production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet established quality standards and QC specifications.
• Comply with safety policies, PPE use, and OSHA/EPA regulations.
• Maintain records for waste disposal, air quality, and chemical use.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards related to powder coating operations.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in powder coating, paint line supervision, or a related manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of line setup, operation, titration, and preventative maintenance procedures.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Effective communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to lift up to 55 lbs routinely and stand for up to 8 hours per shift in a warm environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime as required.
• Must be available to start between 5:00 AM – 6:00 AM.
