Position Summary
The Set-Up Specialist is a first-shift manufacturing role and plays a key part in Concast’s production process by preparing steel molds and materials for daily concrete production. This role involves a combination of assembly, preparation, and manual labor tasks to ensure molds and equipment are ready for efficient production of high-quality precast products.

Job Duties:

• Clean, assemble, and reassemble steel mold components based on production requirements
• Prepare molds and materials for daily manufacturing operations
• Measure components and verify setup accuracy
• Support production teams to ensure efficient workflow
• Use hand and power tools including, Scrapers, Hammers, Tape measures, Impact drivers, Concrete vibrators
• Maintain tools and equipment according to safety standards
• Follow work instructions to maintain quality and consistency
• Participate in team meetings and improvement initiatives
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Learn manufacturing processes used in precast concrete production

• Strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a production environment
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to workplace safety
• Previous experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or construction is helpful but not required

Physical Requirements:

• Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Frequent climbing, reaching, and stooping
• Lift and carry 25–50 lbs regularly
• Work around moving equipment and loud machinery
• Work in indoor and outdoor manufacturing environments

Pay and Benefits:

Pay: $24.00 – $26.00 per hour (depending on experience)
