Job Overview:

Salary/Pay Rate: $100,000 to $130,000 per year (based on experience)
Location: Crystal Lake, IL (100% Travel Required)
Job/Employment Type: Full Time.
Project Scope: Ground-up, Additions, and Interior Remodels.
Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR.
The Opportunity: You will be the frontline leader for our nationwide commercial builds, ensuring every project is delivered with the precision and integrity that DeLauter is known for. This role offers the autonomy to run your own site, managing everything from initial field office setup to the final punch list. You will be the primary steward of site safety and quality, turning blueprints into reality across a diverse portfolio of commercial construction.
How You Will Make an Impact:
Orchestrate daily construction activities and subcontractor schedules to ensure projects remain on track and within specifications.
Execute project schedules in collaboration with Project Managers to guarantee timely delivery and high-quality standards.
Implement and enforce strict company safety policies and local building codes to maintain a secure and orderly job site.
Resolve on-site conflicts and technical hurdles by coordinating directly with owners, architects, and subcontractors.
Manage essential project documentation including daily logs, progress photography, and weekly reports using digital platforms.
Lead all required site inspections and conduct weekly subcontractor meetings to align field operations with project goals.
Facilitate the successful closeout of projects by compiling and expediting punch list items and decommissioning field offices.
Required Qualifications & Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of related construction experience in ground-up or remodel environments.
Possession of valid OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR certifications.
Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word for document management and reporting.
Total commitment to 100% travel to various project locations across the country for project durations.
Preferred Qualifications & Experience:
High School Diploma or GED.
Hands-on experience with BuilderTrend or similar construction management software.
Specialized knowledge in design-build projects and local inspection procedures.
