Functional Description

A Production Coordinator is responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient operation and growth between Production and the Support team. They are responsible for ensuring that every customer contact is consistent, professional, and a pleasant experience. This person must be organized, detail-oriented, result driven, reliable, excellent at multi-tasking, and able to work well with others.

Scope of Outcomes

  • Manage specific customer accounts to enhance customer experience
  • Grow and maintain customer relationships
  • Analyze and report on health of customer accounts
  • Perform work to ISO standards
  • Assist in 24-hour phone schedule
  • Work with technicians and support teams to schedule and prioritize repairs
  • Request, process, and close work orders
  • Act as main PoC between Transducer Department and Support Department for all transducer related escalations
  • Assist in finding solutions for stalled repairs and repair escalations
  • Attend daily check-in meetings with Transducer and Line Technicians to go over the day's work, priorities, and any issues
  • Update the shipboard to help set proper shipping expectations
  • Review of configuration sessions for accurate information
  • Manage needed cores for repairs, review costs, and issue components if needed
  • Assign hot cores for immediate evaluation
  • Maintain inventory levels of transducer stock in accordance with current demand
  • Coordinate with line production team on current demand
  • Coordinate with support team to accept, reject, or negotiate items
  • Execute department projects internally and externally
  • Create an effective schedule and lead team to GP goals and bonus targets. This includes writing the schedule a week in advance, manipulating the schedule as items become UNR and/or new items are approved, and establishing the priority of WOs for technicians
  • Relieve transducer team of Admin duties
  • Manage insertion tubes supply
  • Coordinate with the transducer team to ensure they have all items needed
  • Schedule work orders with team to meet/exceed production value/financial goals
  • Work with department to meet warranty and DOA goal
  • Manage team to meet ISO requirements
  • Qualifications

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Environmental and Physical Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30 pounds
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Dexterous ability to manipulate small objects
  • Willing to work standard and non-standard hours as required to support the customers
