Resinous Flooring Applicator Lead Commercial and Educational Floor Installations

You will lead the transformation of high-traffic environments by installing durable, decorative resinous flooring systems in premier commercial and educational facilities. This role allows you to showcase your technical expertise in moisture mitigation and specialized broadcast systems while working for a company that invests in your professional certifications. You will join a dedicated crew that takes pride in delivering architect-quality finishes that stand the test of time.

• Prepare concrete substrates using stand-up propane planetary grinders to achieve the precise profile required for maximum coating adhesion.

• Install multi-coat resinous systems including primers, body coats, and topcoats using rollers, squeegees, and notched trowels.

• Execute decorative vinyl chip and quartz aggregate broadcasts to meet specific aesthetic and slip-resistance requirements.

• Apply moisture mitigation and vapor barrier systems based on moisture testing results to prevent future floor failures.

• Repair concrete slab defects including cracks and spalls using specialized epoxy or polyurea fillers prior to system application.

• Operate industrial dust collection systems in strict accordance with OSHA silica standards to maintain a clean and safe work site.

• Protect adjacent finished surfaces and fixtures through meticulous masking and containment strategies in occupied school environments.

• Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience installing epoxy, urethane, and polyaspartic flooring systems.

• Proficiency with stand-up propane planetary grinders, hand grinders, and industrial vacuum equipment.

• Proven experience with vinyl chip/flake and decorative quartz broadcast application techniques.

• Ability to interpret project specifications, finish schedules, and manufacturer technical data sheets.

• Valid drivers license and the ability to travel consistently to various job sites in the Houston region.

• Active OSHA 10-Hour or 30-Hour Construction Safety certification.

• Experience with trowel-applied urethane mortar systems and specialized industrial coatings.

• Background in high-traffic facility renovations, specifically within locker rooms, restrooms, or corridors.

• Documented experience with Lavina grinding equipment or equivalent planetary systems.
