Warehouse Laborer at OBR Management – Pearland, Texas

About the role:

The Skilled Warehouse Laborer assists in communicating deliveries with incoming and outgoing drivers, entering data and tracking inventory withing the warehouse. They report to and receive their day-to-day instruction from the Warehouse Supervisor

Roles/Tasks of the Position:

• Follow instructions from supervisors to tasks (e.g., counting inventory, communicating with drivers, checking in trucks, etc.).
• Reports issues in a timely manner.
• Promote a safe and clean work environment by keeping workstations/equipment neat and organized.
• Work in a team environment to achieve a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Handle and transport materials and equipment.
• Utilizing computer programs such as Microsoft as well as inventory programs to accurately input data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Working in hot, humid environments.

• Lifting of up to 50 pounds, bending, climbing (stairs and structures), and stooping.

• Keyboarding/typing.

• Ability to read effectively from a computer screen and/or paper copy.

• Ability to manage a large volume of work and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Prerequisites/Requirements:

• Negative 10 panel urinalysis and breath alcohol test.
• Valid Driver's License and Proof of U.S. Citizenship.
• Background check.
