In this role, you will be responsible for turning complex healthcare data into meaningful insights that guide clinical and operational decisions. You will:
- Gather and translate stakeholder requirements into clear analytical tasks and reporting solutions.
- Develop advanced SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze large healthcare datasets.
- Analyze claims, EMR, pharmacy, and lab data to support population health, cost, and utilization insights.
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations to track provider performance and patient outcomes.
- Support clinical and operational teams with data-driven insights for care optimization and program evaluation.
- Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and consistency across multiple healthcare data sources.
- Present findings and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders.
The ideal candidate brings strong healthcare analytics expertise and the ability to translate data into strategic insights. You should have:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Healthcare, or related field with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong SQL skills with experience working on large-scale healthcare datasets.
- Hands-on experience with medical and pharmacy claims data, including cost and utilization analysis.
- Knowledge of healthcare actuarial and risk adjustment concepts (e.g., HCC, RAF, population stratification).
- Familiarity with healthcare coding and standards (ICD-10, CPT, DRG) and quality frameworks (HEDIS, CMS, NCQA).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical findings for diverse stakeholders.
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving ability, and experience validating data quality and assumptions.
