This leadership role sits at the intersection of project delivery, client success, and operational excellence within a fast-paced, research-driven environment. The Associate Director, Project Management is responsible for leading and developing a team of project managers and coordinators to ensure high-quality execution of complex market research projects. You will partner closely with sales, account management, and internal operational teams to ensure seamless delivery, strong client satisfaction, and continuous process improvement. This role requires a balance of strategic oversight and hands-on leadership, with a strong focus on efficiency, scalability, and team development. You will play a key role in removing operational barriers, improving workflows, and ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget, and at the highest quality standards. This is a remote leadership opportunity with cross-functional and international collaboration exposure.
- Lead, manage, and develop a team of project managers and project coordinators to ensure successful execution of market research projects.
- Allocate resources effectively to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-efficient project delivery.
- Partner with sales and recruiting teams to manage project feasibility, escalations, and execution challenges.
- Oversee operational delivery for strategic accounts, ensuring SOPs, SLAs, and client expectations are consistently met.
- Assign projects based on team capacity, expertise, and experience to optimize performance and outcomes.
- Drive process consistency, operational efficiency, and continuous improvement across project workflows.
- Conduct quality control reviews and identify opportunities for process optimization and issue resolution.
- Provide coaching, performance management, and career development support for direct reports.
- Maintain regular one-on-one check-ins to support team engagement, development, and performance alignment.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to ensure team alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Strong background in client management, consulting, or project delivery within a structured services environment.
- Proven leadership experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced operational setting.
- Strong process orientation with the ability to manage workloads, capacity planning, and SOP execution.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a consultative approach to challenges.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams through feedback and structured development plans.
- Adaptable leadership style with the ability to guide teams through change and evolving priorities.
