Clinical Support Specialist at Agape Behavioral Health – Oakland Park, Florida

Agape Treatment Center, A top workplace three years running, is currently seeking a Part-Time Clinical Support Specialist for our facility in Wilton Manors, FL!

The Clinical Support Specialist is responsible for performing a wide variety of patient care activities as directed by the Clinical Director. He/she will provide direct and indirect support to the clinical team to ensure safe, compassionate, and efficient delivery of services. This role supports patient care, clinical operations, and program coordination while upholding the organizations mission of delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.

Specific Areas of Responsibility:

• Support clinicians and staff with day-to-day operations

• Assist with patient intake, orientation, and ongoing engagement

• Observe and report patient behaviors, needs, and concerns to clinical leadership

• Ensure accurate and timely documentation

• Support therapeutic programming, groups, and activities as assigned

• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for patients and staff

• Assist with crisis de-escalation using approved techniques and training

• Coordinate patient flow, appointments, and transitions as needed

• Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and regulatory standards at all times

• Serve as a compassionate point of contact for patients and families

Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in relevant Required
• Masters Degree preferred
• A minimum of 1 year experience in substance abuse or mental health care preferred.
