Regulatory Specialist at Zausner Foods Corporation – New Holland, Pennsylvania

POSITION SUMMARY

The Regulatory Specialist ensures that all AFP Regulatory Policies and Systems are designed to meet AFP Standards and are in Regulatory Compliance for all Products produced at AFP Manufacturing Facilities and Co-Manufacturers and the corporate office. Knowledgeable in all Regulatory Policies Systems. This position is based in New Holland, Pennsylvania.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Advanced computer skills required (MS Office 365) Mandatory knowledge of charts, graphs and PPT.

• Experience with Document Control

• Experience with SAP Spec Management / Genesis / Wrike / Sharepoint a plus

• Must be able to understand Regulatory requirements and impacts

• Responsible for Quality / Regulatory system management and compliance (Genesis, SAP Spec Management, Wrike, Sharepoint)

• Manage Customer requests / requirements (Halal / GMO / Vegan / Nutrition / Label Claims, reports, etc.)

• Manage Export requests (Country Suitability Reviews / Ingredient Breakdowns / Export Requirements)

• Label development review

• Develop Customer requested documents

• Must be flexible with work schedule, work overtime and weekends as needed.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

• 4 yr. Degree or greater in Food Science/Dairy Technology or similar; Experience in Regulatory compliance in the Food industry, Dairy preferred.

• 1 – 4 years experience in the Food Industry Regulatory area preferred. This should include Food Regulations & Labeling, Quality, or R&D with a large amount of experience

• Superior Computer skills, multiple databases and software programs

• Better Process Control School preferred but not required
